Ironman Tri Club Program

IRONMAN TriClub Program Launched in the Fall of 2012, the IRONMAN TriClub Program began with 250 partner clubs. Today there are over 800 clubs in the program that represent over 150,000 athletes.

The program focus on 3 important areas clubs said they wanted to see:

•  The opportunity to drive awareness to their club and bring in new members

•  Create a platform for networking - sharing ideas and social interactions

•  The chance to race against one another all year long, not just at a single championship race

TriClub Competition awards clubs prizes for placement of club members in races. New this year in the IRONMAN TriClub Loyalty Program - a way for clubs to earn cool stuff without impacting their podium placement. Points are earned for tri clubs when members compete in an IRONMAN or 70.3 race, place in their age groups, participate as a Foundation Athlete, volunteer at races - and the more volunteers from a club the more points earned. What the points get the club is really cool - reserved seating at the Athlete Welcome Dinner, an early entry slot, Club dedicated port-o-otty at the race of their choice, and even the CEO Andrew Messick will wear the tri club jersey in an IRONMAN or 70.3 race.

The Cleveland Tri Club is an active member of the Ironman Tri Club program. This program allows Ironman 70.3 and 140.6 competitors that are affiliated with the Cleveland Tri Club to earn valuable Tri Club points that the club can cash in for early race registration and various other valuable opportunities.

In March, the Cleveland Tri Club won a spot to compete in the 2018 North American 70.3 Tri Club Championship. This will take place April 8th in Haines City, Florida. If you plan on taking part in this race you must have an Ironman account and be affiliated with the "Cleveland Tri Club" to receive the early registration notice. The early registration notice is scheduled to go out in June.

If you plan on racing the 70.3 Club Championship or any other Ironman 70.3 or 140.6 race this year or next, you need to set up your Ironman account at
www.ironman.com/login. Under the "My Athlete Profile" tab enter "Cleveland Tri Club" and select save. (Note, if you have zero intention of racing any official Ironman branded races, please do not register.)

With so many CTC members competing in IRONMAN events, this is a great opportunity to spread awareness of our club, win cool stuff, and have even more fun in the experience.
