I was a multi sport athlete growing up and have always looked to challenge myself. I joined a running group in 2017 and have ran multiple half marathons since then. My new running friend convinced me in 2017 to sign up for a sprint triathlon. Why not! I bought a new road bike and basically taught myself to swim that summer (with the help of a few lessons and YouTube). After completing that Sprint, I was hooked! In 2018, I completed my first Olympic distance. In 2019, I completed my first Half Ironman (Ohio 70.3) and also ran my first full marathon. I love setting new goals and pushing myself to be my personal best.
