September 02, 2019 - Sometimes you just have to get out of your normal circle of races, and try something new! So signed up for the Tuscazoar 25 miler along with teammate and friend Kelly Baker, and it was fun. This is a challenging course on mostly single track mountain trails, some crushed gravel flat along the river, and road through the city of Zoar. The second half of the race is where all the big climbs are, so be warned. LOL Overall felt good and the temperature was a perfect 70 degrees, so hydrating was never an issue. The aid stations are very well stocked with good food like a bacon & cheese burrito, yum!
